Carla's journey of hair started in high-school with a love for hair and people, while simultaneously embarking on a personal journey of yoga and wellness.
Fast track to now, immersing in over 22 years of exploring wellness and industry experience across hair salons, media work, wedding styling, RTO hairdressing teaching and organic hair-care product production Carla has experienced all corners of hair developing a deep passion in leading the industry combining a holistic way, simply making people feel good while respecting our environment.

Since opening our doors in 2018 Kalon has been a bustling little space. Our salon started in Canterbury where we outgrew that space fast, shortly moving into a bigger store in Mitcham. Keeping up with our growth we needed a bigger space again and in 2024 we opened our doors to a bigger, more beautiful new salon right next door that is now split across multiple rooms where you can fully relax and enjoy your moment of Kalon bliss.
Our clients love our bright and airy space that has no harsh chemical smells trusting that our choice of haircare and colour products are that of the highest professional level in brands and processes. We are always aiming for best results by working with a mix of products that hold high standards in ethical scientific production practices that incorporate a high focus on natural and biodegradable elements.
Serving ethically sourced Certified Organic tea to each guest we want to make sure you feel just as nourished on the inside while being cared for on the outside at every visit.
